Audition

PSW is always interested in gaining new members. If you play a band instrument and would like to request an audition, please use our 'Contact Us' page, select 'Audition' from the dropdown and complete the remainder of the form. Don't forget to tell us what instrument you play. The principal chair will contact you regarding an audition.

Welcome

Welcome to the new website of Peachtree Symphonic Winds (PSW). We have a whole new look, we've added new content, given you direct access to our latest newsletter, have a list of musical services offered by some of our members, updated our schedule and given you access to find us on Facebook and Twitter!

We'll keep things interesting by posting as often as possible so you can keep up with us. So look around and let us know what you think.

A nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, PSW relies on donations and grants from individuals, foundations and corporations.

We'd like to thank all of our sponsors who have donated time, talents and resources to further our program!

News and Updates

Our concert at McKendree United Methodist Church on March 29 to support the Lawrenceville Co-op was a great success. Early tallies show that the Co-op collected over $3400 and 1000 cans of food for the needy! See more detail on our concerts and media page.

In the past 6 years PSW has:

Performed Major Works with Premier guest artists, including seminars or master-classes about the works performed
Performed publicly before thousands of people both indoor and out.
Established an education division that includes a comprehensive mentoring and continuing music education program for young people each year, enhancing the music education received in their individual schools
Organized Education Side-By-Side rehearsals and concerts that allow the youth to perform with adults in concerts dedicated to the pursuit of excellence.
Held master classes by our Professional Community Musicians at area schools to expose our youth to the various musical styles and performance practices
